GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Plans, coordinates, and supports district maintenance and construction activities by managing maintenance schedules, materials, inventory, and related documentation to ensure reliable operation of facilities, structures, and systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, coordinates, and supports district maintenance and construction activities by managing maintenance schedules, materials, inventory, and related documentation to ensure reliable operation of facilities, structures, and systems.
Support development, implementation, and updates of the district maintenance plan in coordination with the District Manager.
Prepare budget estimates, cost tracking, progress reports, and required documentation in accordance with the Power Delivery Management Framework.
Manage maintenance work orders, material requirements, and asset data within the Enterprise Asset Management system.
Oversee warehouse and materials operations, including receiving, staging, issuing, and inventory control.
Develop maintenance and construction work plans, scopes, and project packets; participate in pre-construction and maintenance planning meetings.
Coordinate test equipment calibration processes and maintain related records and reports.
Collaborate with maintenance teams, engineering, operations, safety, and contractors to support timely and effective project execution.
Remain current on technical developments related to maintenance and materials coordination.
Provide outage support, extended work hours, and overnight travel as required to support district operations.
Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
Maintain awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations from various regulatory entities, internal policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure ongoing monitoring and timely incorporation of any changes to maintain adherence to compliance standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Technical degree or at least 3 or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid drivers license
Must successfully pass a DOT Fit for Duty medical examination and maintain DOT medical certification as a condition of employment.
Class B CDL
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places, outdoor weather conditions, and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. There are times that work will be in an office environment as well.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; color vision; and depth perception.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Possess a strong understanding of maintenance operations and processes.
Excellent planning and organization skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Proficient with MS Office Applications and Maintenance/Warehouse Management Systems.
Experience in transmission and substation operation/maintenance methods and procedures essential. Additional experience or knowledge in other electric utility operations is helpful.
Knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), RUS Bulletin 1724E-300 and RUS Bulletin 1724E-200 helpful.
Must be able to travel to various locations throughout the state of Arkansas to complete work assignments.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
