You
participate as a procurement expert in project meetings and define procurement
and supplier strategies to achieve the best possible award result in terms of
cost, quality, and other project goals. You maintain close communication with
other interface departments and coordinate comprehensive internal
communication. This also includes summarizing the award process for internal
approvals.
Additionally,
you communicate with suppliers relevant to your material fields and monitor the
market to select suitable suppliers for each project. You stay up-to-date and
continuously develop through exchanges with procurement colleagues and Real
Estate partners.
How You Can Make aDifference
As Project Procurement Manager at Real Estate,you are responsible for the procurement of national and internationalconstruction main and ancillary services, technical building equipment, andengineering services based on the requirements of Real Estate.
You create (electronic) tenders, evaluateoffers, and conduct price and contract negotiations up to the contractconclusion, which also includes supplementary and claim management.
For your material fields, you define andimplement procurement strategies. You conduct needs, market, and supplieranalyses to ensure a long-term, cost-efficient, and timely supply in therequired quality.
Depending on the project country, you conductmarket analyses worldwide to contribute to the optimal procurement strategy andensure cooperation with the best suppliers.
The implementation and ensuring the use ofdefined purchasing methods, processes, and systems in a digital procurementenvironment are also part of your tasks.
Close collaboration with internal interfaces(other purchasing functions, legal department, project management, bidmanagement, construction planning/construction project management department,regions, controlling, reporting, etc.) is a matter of course for you.
What You Bring
You have bachelor's degree as an architect,civil engineer, industrial engineer with a focus on construction, or acommercial education with a technical construction background.
5+ years of experience in project management orprocurement of goods and services in the construction industry or realestate-related areas.
You possess strong negotiation skills, goalorientation, and proactive actions.
You have knowledge in project managementspecific to procurement as well as contract law.
Fluent English and proficiency with Officetools complete your profile. German is a value.
About the Team
We manage all
procurement activities required for Siemens Energy's owned and leased
properties worldwide. This includes property operations, all new construction
and renovation projects, as well as energy procurement. We are looking for a
proactive buyer for the procurement-side implementation of construction
projects and maintenance measures, primarily in Germany. Additionally, you will
support global construction projects as well as the development of the global
strategy.

coordinate the roadmap for your project. Here, you moderate the requirements of
the bid management and sales, as well as the contributions from engineering and
other interface partners. Afterwards, you align your presentation for a

team to present it to management and discuss your award recommendation. In
between, you handle your emails and meet with colleagues in the canteen for

What you bring
Asuccessfully completed degree in civil engineering or a comparable educationwith relevant professional experience in the field
At least 5years of professional experience in procurement and/or construction projectmanagement
Fluent inEnglish, additional language skills are advantageous (special value for German)
Technicaland commercial understanding
Willingnessto travel and perform nationally and internationally
Experiencein international project business or plant construction
Entrepreneurialthinking / living the owner culture
