Director of Pharmacy 340B
Position Summary
The Director of Pharmacy 340B at UCHealth is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of the organization's 340B Drug Pricing Program. The director will ensure program compliance, optimize cost savings and revenue opportunities, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support patient care and organizational goals. This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and implements system goals, plans, and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the organization.
Directs assessment of pharmacy needs, strategic assessment, stakeholder analysis, and project risk assessment, quality of care, patient safety, workflow analysis, and communication planning. Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs audits.
Oversees the 340b program and compliance with federal and state regulations. Works with local and system leaders to ensure ongoing compliance standards. Manages regional reports for 340b. Supports Authorizing Officials in their annual qualifications. Supports all HRSA/OPAIS audits, communications, and annual registrations.
Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Ensures compliance, monitoring, and management of the 340b program, revenue cycle management/charge master, business strategy and KPI.
Qualifications
Bachelors, Masters or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or JD. AN MBA with a healthcare focus or MHA is preferred.
Current pharmacist license in the State of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain).
ACE certified or within 1 year of employment
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in 340b as a pharmacist, 340b attorney, or pharmacy authorizing official
Strong knowledge of 340B Drug Pricing Program regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Pay:$175,302 - $280,467 annual base pay. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
