The Work
You will own the relationship with the industry analyst community and be the primary engine for competitive intelligence, ensuring the AGBG's narrative is not only heard but is also seen as leading the industry. Your mission is to connect the dots between market perception, competitive threats, and our unique value proposition, making the AGBG the undisputed leader in Google Cloud transformation.Key Responsibilities
Industry Analyst Relations & Strategic Positioning: You will own and orchestrate the AGBG's global relationship with the industry analyst community (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest Group). This involves developing and executing a proactive, year-round briefing strategy to ensure analysts have a deep understanding of the AGBG's vision, joint offerings, and customer successes. Your primary objective is to secure and improve leadership positions for the Accenture-Google partnership in key analyst reports, such as Magic Quadrants and Waves, providing critical third-party validation that our sales teams can leverage to build credibility and win deals.
Competitive Intelligence & Rapid Response: You will build and operate a world-class competitive intelligence function focused squarely on the cloud services market. This requires systematically tracking and analyzing the strategies, partnerships, and go-to-market motions of other Global System Integrators (GSIs) in relation to all major cloud platforms. You are responsible for synthesizing this intelligence into actionable insights, creating and maintaining competitive "battlecards," and developing rapid-response messaging to counter competitor claims. You will be the go-to expert who arms AGBG leadership and client teams with the specific information they need to win in head-to-head situations.
Strategic Messaging and Narrative Development: You will be a principal architect of the AGBG's core narrative. Working closely with executive leadership, marketing, and solution leads, you will translate our strategy and capabilities into clear, compelling, and evidence-based messaging. You will be responsible for weaving together customer proof points, analyst validation, and competitive differentiation into a powerful story that resonates with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. This involves crafting foundational messaging for key offerings and developing the strategic content for high-stakes presentations and executive briefings.
Internal Strategic Advisory: You will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counsel to the AGBG executive leadership team. You are expected to provide regular, unvarnished briefings on market perception, competitive landscape shifts, and potential strategic blind spots.
