Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis who is ready to dive in, get dirty, and ensure everything runs smoothly. This role is perfect for individuals with a mechanical inclination and some electrical experience who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on trimming machines, strappers, cylinders, air fittings, and conveyor systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues (85%) and electrical systems (15%).

Work with hydraulics and pneumatics.

Assist with robotic troubleshooting as needed.

Stay proactive with preventative maintenance and equipment checks.

Essential Skills

Experience with motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems (220V & 480V) and ensure safety compliance.

Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and machine repair.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance, schematics, and blueprints.

Familiarity with industrial systems, 3-phase electrical systems, and robotics (Fanuc).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with blow mold or injection mold.

Welding (MIG) skills.

Ability to install and repair conveyors.

PLC troubleshooting and robotics calibration.

Sensor installation and diagnostics.

VFD setup and repair.

Mechanical assembly and disassembly (gearboxes, pumps, bearings).

Root cause analysis and rapid troubleshooting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $39.00/hr.
