Health and Safety Business Partner Job Locations UK-Oxfordshire-Oxford | Work From Your Own Home ID 2025-18004 Overview Element has an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety Business Partner to support its Connected Technologies business and its locations in the United Kingdom. This position will partner with local management teams to support the implementation of the Element SHE program. You will partner with the Divisional Director, working closely with the Connected Technologies SHE Director and must be able travel to multiple sites including Malvern, Abingdon, Guildford, Skelmersdale and Hull. It is anticipated that this role will require frequent travel to Element locations across the UK. Responsibilities Supporting divisional leadership to: Integrate SHE program into daily operations Understand their role and responsibilities and ensure appropriate resources are in place Provide guidance and critical challenge Support creation, monitor and report on progress against improvement plans Support local focal points Facilitate completion of audits and management system reviews Ensure locations achieve compliance with applicable regulatory and Element SHE program requirements Assess opportunities for improvement, shares best practice across Element Communicate and engage effectively across all levels Skills / Qualifications Degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Management, Risk Management or Occupational Safety related subject, or other related fields or an equivalent combination of education and experience Nebosh Diploma essential The candidate must have a strong understanding of country/ local safety, health and environmental laws and legislation Minimum experience level: 2-4 years experience Ability to influence stakeholders such as General Lab Managers Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, customer testing specifications, design specifications, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Ability to calculate figures, statistics and amounts such as safety and health data as well as exposure limits Ability to solve practical problems Ability to interpret a variety of instructions, data and details Must have clean drivers license #LI-DJ1 Company Overview Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
