Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0525-5/6/7, Accounting Technician located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Financial Service Center in CHESAPEAKE, Virginia. Responsibilities You will serve as a Accounting Technician and be responsible for accounting support in an organization charged with payment of bills and maintaining accounting. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Managing multiple accounts, established control of inter-related subsidiary accounts, prepares supporting schedules, conducts analysis, handles subdivisions with summary ledgers, performs adjustments, balancing, reconciliation.
