As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transit location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine foot rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support riders and staff with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or transit riders by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned public transportation facilities and surrounding areas, including entrances, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, supporting first responders, and/or helping direct pedestrian flow as needed.

Monitor access points and public areas, verify identification and/or credentials when required by site policy, and help to maintain orderly entry, exit, and queuing.

Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
