Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0303-8, Administrative Assistant (Office Automation) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, CG NVDC COMMERCIAL VESSEL DOCUMENTATION DIVISION -NVDC-1 in FALLING WATERS, West Virginia. Responsibilities You will serve as a Administrative Assistant (Office Automation) and be responsible for overall general management and execution of administrative functions. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Review outgoing correspondence. Using a variety of software to include word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Primary contact for calls and visitors to the NVDC front office. Lead for employee time and attendance. Manages Bowater, Lease Financing and Oil Spill Response files, leveraging expiration dates to issue reminder notices and ensure timely receipt of required responses.
