Long Description

Staff Accountant

A position whereby the principles of accounting are applied to analyzing financial information and prepare financial reports. The following duties will be performed.

This is a hybrid position and will be in office Wednesday and Thursdays with a start time of either 7:30am or 8:00am. Must live near Wayne or Chesterbrook, PA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the preparation of month end journal entries, book standard entries, perform weekly balance sheet scrub. Research and respond to field comments and book any required entries as a result. Perform closing processes to generate period end financial statements. Ensure assigned balance sheet accounts reflect the correct balances and are reconciled monthly Identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Identify, initiate and implement efficiencies for current processes as needed Other duties and special projects as assigned

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. SAP knowledge a plus.
