As a Security Officer - Construction Site in Blythewood, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy retail and mall location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist shoppers and store teams with clear communication, report concerns promptly, and support access control as needed. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store management and local first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, common areas, entrances and/or the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor alarms, cameras and/or other systems when assigned, and document observations, incidents and corrective actions in required reports.

Assist with loss prevention support by observing and reporting suspicious activity, addressing policy violations and supporting orderly customer traffic flow during peak shopping periods.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Having customer service experience is preferred.

Having access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
