Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to customers by addressing their inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and care. This position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

Communicate payment statuses, outstanding balances, and resolution timelines to customers in a clear and empathetic manner.

Assist customers in resolving failed payments, including declined transactions, insufficient funds, and chargebacks, by guiding them through necessary steps.

Collaborate with Accounts Receivable and Finance teams to ensure customer communications align with account activity and any necessary corrections.

Accurately document customer interactions, resolutions, and commitments using case management systems.

Identify patterns or recurring customer issues and escalate findings to leadership for process improvements.

Handle sensitive conversations with tact, aiming to resolve concerns while maintaining strong client relationships.

Work closely with internal teams such as Finance, IT, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure timely follow-ups and issue resolution.

Set clear expectations for customers regarding next steps, timelines, and available support resources. Requirements - Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment.

Strong skills in handling inbound and outbound calls effectively.

Ability to manage order entry and maintain accurate records.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to resolve customer issues professionally.

Adept at documenting interactions and resolutions in case management systems.

Experience in identifying trends or recurring issues and escalating them appropriately.

Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to address customer needs.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to de-escalate sensitive situations. TalentMatch®
