As a Security Officer - Industrial Perimeter Patrol in Ashburn, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, support access control points, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, communicate clearly with site contacts, and document observations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site guidelines.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and maintenance or property issues that require notification and follow-up.

Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

A guard card and/or security-related license is preferred.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
