Medical Office Assistant

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm EST

Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth clinic operations before rooming patients, helping maintain steady patient flow

Manage scheduling, referrals, and follow-up on clinical notes

Accurately document patient information in EMR, including:

Doctor notes

Demographics

Insurance details

Screening responses

Provide outstanding customer service, acting as a key point of contact for patients

Support multiple clinics within a large department

Move throughout the office during shifts, working both front desk and back office as needed

Qualifications:

1 year experience working in a Medical Assisting capacity

Medical assisting diploma or certification

Strong communication and organizational skill

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McLean, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
