Job Summary

The Commercial Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial suspended and supported scaffolding construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including pre-construction, scheduling, execution, and closeout

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and owners

Review and administer contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals

Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Lead jobsite meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

Monitor quality of work and ensure adherence to plans and specifications

Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise

Oversee site safety programs and enforce OSHA standards

Manage project documentation, including drawings, reports, and closeout materials

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices

Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and employees

Proficiency in construction management software

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills & Certifications

OSHA 30 certification

NCCER

Experience with projects such as office buildings, retail, healthcare, or industrial facilities

Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
