Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

The Assembler position entails performing the assembly work of components as per work instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of manual and semi-routine duties.

Read and interpret oral and written instructions for assembly.

Use hand tools and/or packaging equipment to package sub-final assemblies and prepare for shipping.

Complete production records as required.

Meet basic assembly standards.

Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Use various basic hand tools.

Comply with all safety rules and regulations regarding work station and soldering.

Essential Skills

Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Adherence to attendance policies and production targets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or Secondary School.

Entry-level position with no prior experience required.

Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.

Cooperation and understanding of changing priorities.

Work Environment

The position requires working with various basic hand tools in a clean and orderly work area. Adherence to safety regulations is crucial. Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlebury, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
