What you'll do...
We are seeking a manufacturing production supervisor for our Ready Case Beef Plant in Olathe, KS. This role will report to the Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production facility, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely by managing staff, coordinating production schedules, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety regulations within a manufacturing environment. What Youll Do:
Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines, manage workflow, and assign tasks to production team members.
Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards, identify and address quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
Staff Management: Supervise and train production staff, evaluate performance, provide feedback, and address employee concerns.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations, conduct safety inspections, and promote a safe working environment.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning of production machinery, identify and report equipment malfunctions, and coordinate maintenance activities.
Performance Monitoring: Track production metrics, analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize efficiency.
Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and production delays.
Reporting: Generate reports on production progress, quality metrics, and performance to management.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years' supervisory experience in a related environment (for example, logistics / supply chain, dairy plant, food processing, manufacturing).
2 years' experience in clerical-related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) and computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio).
