Salary Range: $15.00-$18.50 per hour Job Title: Corporate Administrative Assistant - Energy/LP Emphasis Location: Southern FS, Inc. Reports To: Clayton Spurlock, Credit Manager & Tim Fulton, Energy Marketing Leader Position Summary The Corporate Administrative Assistant - Energy/LP Emphasis provides administrative and customer support for the Energy division, with a primary focus on propane (LP) and refined fuels. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, delivery personnel, and internal departments while utilizing company software platforms to ensure accurate account management, order processing, and customer service. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Account Support Receive and manage incoming customer calls regarding propane and refined fuel orders, service requests, tank information, and general account inquiries. Assist customers with delivery scheduling, tank options, and service-related questions. Discuss credit applications, credit approvals, and payment expectations with customers in coordination with the Credit Manager. Send new customer packets, including Duty to Warn documentation and required agreements. Provide support for account status questions, including Energy and Agronomy balances. Assist front office staff with customer account inquiries and issue resolution. Energy & LP Administrative Support Utilize Webs, TankSpotter, Anova tank monitoring systems, and Agvance software for order entry, account management, tank tracking, and reporting. Help implement and manage the annual Even Payment/Budget Billing Program, including customer enrollment and payment tracking. Coordinate with delivery personnel to address routing questions, tank monitors, out-of-gas situations, and service-related concerns. Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, tank leases, and required compliance paperwork. Credit & Compliance Support Assist with processing credit applications and communicating approval status to customers. Support proper documentation of tank leases and Duty to Warn requirements. Ensure accurate record keeping within company systems for audit and compliance purposes. Perform all other duties as assigned. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn company-specific software (Webs, TankSpotter, Anova, Agvance). Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively with customers, delivery drivers, and management.
