POSITION: Business Risk Manager

Position Summary:

The Business Risk Manager operates within the Bank's First Line of Defense and is directly accountable to lead and execute multiple Operational Risk initiatives across the CSB Operations function, in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Framework. This role works collaboratively with the BSA, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance Departments, as well as key Business leaders to ensure that Operational Risk programs are appropriately executed reported.

Key Result Areas :

· Drive Risk Culture: Ensure awareness within the Business Line of risk frameworks and policies.

· Adhere to Risk Frameworks and Policies: Partner with Enterprise Risk Management to provide input/review of risk frameworks and policies. Support Business Line awareness of and adherence to risk frameworks and policies.

· Continuous Monitoring: Monitor all sources of risk within the Operations Department. Engage in research and networking to anticipate risk issues impacting the Operations Department and continuously assess and improve operational controls to mitigate those risks.

· Program Execution: Manage and execute operational risk programs including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Issue Management, Key Risk Indicators, and Incident Management.

· QC and Testing: Develop and execute first line of defense testing initiatives (such as control testing and Quality Control), including tests scripts and validation of control execution.

· Corrective Action Planning: Identify and document corrective actions and drive accountability across key stakeholders.

· Audit and Exam Management: Liaison with the Operations Department for all testing activities including control testing, internal audits, and regulatory exams.

· Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree, preferred

· 5+ years of Financial Services experience

· 3+ years of Operational Risk Management experience

· Strong understanding of Banking Operations and core banking systems (fraud, loan, deposits, payments and digital) and the business processes they support.

· Successful track record in managing and executing operational risk initiatives

· Excellent communication skills, including an ability to influence stakeholders across the organization, to speak effectively in small and large-group settings.

· Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment

Salary Range: $105,000 - $136,000

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Cambridge Savings Bank ranges from $105,000 - $136,000. Cambridge Saving Bank will determine actual compensation for the role based on factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
