We farm 10,000+ acres of dry land ground along with 2 circles of
irrigation (240 acres). We are a fully certified organic farm and grow
mostly bread wheat for milling, durum wheat for pasta, and food-grade
corn and sunflowers. Employee will operate tractors (JD 4wd and JD
MFWD), farm trucks. Employee must be able to work independently,
recognize/remedy issues, self-initiate tasks/duties, and have mechanical
skills. Most working hours will be spent driving large tillage
equipment. Employee will assist with all aspects of growing these crops,
and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employee will need to
complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment. No commercial
trucking is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant
pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or
experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer
performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are
determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season
will be paid at the previous seasons rate if that rate exceeds the
current published rate.
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is
also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers,
from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up
points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and
