Summary
We are seeking a high performing Managing Director to lead our global subsidiary financial institutions coverage focused on subsidiaries of global financial institutions within Bank of America's Global Corporate Banking team. The successful candidate, reporting to the Global and U.S. Head of Corporate Banking Subsidiaries, will build durable relationships with CFOs, Treasurers, and senior executives, delivering integrated solutions across capital raising, risk management, treasury, and payments. MDs at this level bring broad product expertise, deep industry insight, and the leadership ability to coordinate the full capabilities of the firm on behalf of clients.

Role Description
The Managing Director will serve as the primary relationship manager and strategic advisor for a portfolio of top-tier global clients. Responsibilities include:
Leading senior-level client relationships and advising on capital structure, liquidity, financing strategy, and risk management
Building a deep understanding of client business models, regulatory environments, and strategic priorities
Coordinating cross-functional deal teams across corporate banking, capital markets, treasury, and risk partners
Driving revenue growth through cross-selling and responsible balance sheet deployment
Serving as a culture carrier committed to collaboration, integrity, and responsible growth
Maintaining forward-looking insights on sector trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics
This role requires strong leadership, exceptional client presence, extensive knowledge of financial institutions, and experience covering complex global institutions.
Qualifications
15+ years of Corporate Banking or Investment Banking experience with meaningful financial institutions exposure. The role requires a detailed understanding of how financial firms manage leverage, liquidity, and long-term solvency.
Proven track record of senior client coverage, revenue generation, and strategic advisory
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess financing alternatives and credit risk
Excellent communication skills and executive presence
Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional teams
Strategic, creative thinker with a global perspective
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence across a large, matrixed organization
