Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with solid construction industry AR experience to join a well-respected organization in Spokane Valley. This contract-to-hire role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and takes pride in accurate financial work. Strong customer service, urgency, and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and drive collections efforts, including outreach on overdue accounts

Prepare and process invoices, account statements, adjustments, and daily deposits

Reconcile accounts, research discrepancies, and maintain AR aging accuracy

Support month-end closing processes for accounts receivable

Maintain and update customer account information across ERP systems

Handle incoming calls and provide high-quality customer service

Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve efficiency

Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections.

Proficiency in commercial billing functions and managing cash activities.

Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage Intacct.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

Knowledge of financial processes and adherence to relevant regulations.
