Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a 2-3 month project in Hamilton, Ohio. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in managing accounts receivable operations and ensuring efficient cash application processes. The ideal candidate brings over two years of experience in accounts receivable and has strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Manage cash application tasks, including posting payments and reconciling accounts.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to deductions and customer accounts.

Collaborate with internal teams to address payment issues and maintain accurate records.

Prepare and analyze reports on accounts receivable activities and performance.

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for audits and reviews.

Communicate effectively with customers to resolve account-related inquiries.

Support the implementation of processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements in all accounts receivable operations.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.

Proficiency in cash application processes and related financial systems.

Strong analytical skills for investigating deductions and discrepancies.

Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

Familiarity with reporting tools and the ability to generate accurate financial reports.

Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and compliance standards.

Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
