Role: A&P Aircraft Mechanic (Direct Hire)

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Service Center)

Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00 / hour (depending on experience) Plus up to a $15K sign-on bonus!

What You'll Do as an A&P Mechanic In this role, you will perform high-level inspections, maintenance, and modifications on the Textron Aviation portfolio (Cessna, Beechcraft, King Air, and Hawker) to ensure safety and airworthiness. This is a Direct Hire position at a premier Service Center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical & Systems: Diagnose malfunctions and complete disassembly, repair, and adjustment of aircraft systems on multiple turboprop and jet models.

Engine & Airframe: Troubleshoot and repair turbine engines (PT6, JT15D, etc.), including engine run-ups and functional testing.

Modifications: Install service bulletins, kits, and major airframe/engine modifications with high precision.

Precision Tooling: Utilize tensiometers, micrometers, and specialized gauges to ensure all work meets stringent FAA and company standards.

Qualifications:

Certification: Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license is required.

Experience: 3+ years of experience on Textron products (Cessna Citation, Beechcraft, King Air, or Hawker).

Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret complex AMMs, SRMs, and IPCs.
