Worksite Location(s): Work will be performed in multiple worksites throughout the Hamilton area including the counties of Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Fayette, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Ross, Shelby, Warren in OH; Dearborn, Ohio, Union in IN; and Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Pendleton in KY.
Job Description: Valley Asphalt Corporation, Cincinnati, OH. Daily transportation will be provided from a central location to and from worksites in the following counties: Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Fayette, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Ross, Shelby, Warren in OH; Dearborn, Ohio, Union in IN; Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Mason, Pendleton in KY. 14 Construction Laborer positions available. Temporary, full time position from 04/01/2026 through 12/31/2026, 6:30 am -6:00 pm, 50 hrs/week, Additional overtime varies, Monday-Friday, Schedule varies, start/end times vary, occasional Saturdays. Workers will be paid Weekly at $26.80/hr, $40.20/hr OT, Health benefits available first of the month following 30 days of employment. Assisting plant foreman in supporting daily plant operations by performing routine tasks such as shoveling and moving asphalt to clear conveyors, walkways and shoots. Greases necessary parts as needed. Ensures plant areas are kept clean and orderly. Shovels and sweeps away debris that builds up around the asphalt plant. Sweeps and cleans off the walkways, stairs and scales as needed. Tools utilized include hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills and impact wrench. Will lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies and clean tools, equipment, material and work areas. Pre-employment drug testing required; Drug testing during employment for cause; Post-Accident Drug Testing; Random drug testing during employment. All drug testing is performed without regard to an employee's citizenship or immigration status, and all testing is paid for by the company. Pre-hire background check required. All background checks are performed equally as to U.S. workers and H-2B workers, and all fees are paid for by the company. Able to lift 50lbs. No experience required, will train. Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Employer facilitates corresponding deductions for available health benefits. Employer facilitates voluntary housing arrangements along with corresponding payroll deduction of approximately $350/month per person. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.
