Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Seasonal Support) - Tax Firm

Are you looking for a part-time opportunity to support a busy tax firm during our client's peak season? We are seeking an organized, efficient, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide essential clerical support during tax season. This is a seasonal, part-time role, working from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and via email

Schedule and confirm client appointments

Manage and organize client files and sensitive financial documents

Assist with data entry, including scanning and uploading tax-related paperwork

Maintain office supplies and ensure common areas remain organized

Support tax preparers with administrative tasks as needed

Perform general clerical duties such as copying, filing, and faxing

Requirements

Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar support role, preferably in a finance or tax environment

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional demeanor and positive attitude

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital filing systems

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Reliability and ability to work the outlined schedule (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday-Saturday) during tax season

Flexibility as the hours may increase as the demand increases closer to the tax deadline
