Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position that offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing organization in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in general ledger accounting and corporate tax, along with proficiency in Dynamics GP.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries to ensure timely and precise financial reporting.

Perform reconciliations across various accounts to verify the accuracy of financial data.

Manage general ledger activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Assist with corporate tax preparation, including calculations and documentation.

Support the implementation and use of Dynamics GP for financial processes.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of accounting functions.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.

Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting principles.

Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Offer support during audits and provide documentation as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.

Strong knowledge of corporate tax regulations and compliance.

Proficiency in Dynamics GP or similar accounting software.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and stakeholders.
