The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and agile Marketing Manager to support Lumen's Infrastructure Services portfolio, a multi-solution offering spanning several foundational connectivity and platform capabilities. This role is ideal for a product marketer who thrives in portfolio-based environments, can move fluidly across multiple solution areas, and excels at building strong cross-functional relationships.
You will own the positioning, messaging, and sales enablement for multiple infrastructure services, translating complex, evolving technologies into clear, customer-centric narratives. Your work will directly shape how customers understand and adopt Lumen's infrastructure capabilities, across edge, colocation, and core connectivity, in support of modern cloud, data, and application architectures.
The Main Responsibilities
Portfolio & Go-to-Market Leadership
Support go-to-market strategy development and execution across multiple infrastructure solutions, ensuring portfolio-level consistency while enabling solution-level differentiation.
Balance competing priorities across the portfolio, making informed tradeoffs to support business objectives and sales execution.
Messaging & Positioning
Translate technical concepts into clear, outcome-focused messaging, including value propositions, differentiators, proof points, and claims.
Maintain cohesive portfolio storytelling while tailoring messaging to individual services, products, and use cases across the infrastructure stack.
Sales Enablement
Develop and maintain sales enablement assets such as conversation guides, datasheets, presentations, battlecards, blogs, and thought leadership content.
Partner closely with Sales and Enablement teams to ensure materials are practical, current, and aligned to how sellers engage customers.
Marketing Activation
Contribute to external-facing content and campaigns, including whitepapers, eBooks, research-backed assets, webinars, and roundtables to support demand generation and pipeline growth.
Adapt portfolio messaging for different stages of the buyer journey.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics related to connectivity, cloud, and digital infrastructure.
Synthesize insights into actionable guidance for product positioning and GTM strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Build strong working relationships with Product, Sales, Enablement, Campaigns, Creative & Brand, Corporate Communications, and Analyst Relations.
Operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities evolve, and collaboration is essential.
