Description

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations. The role requires a focus on accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable payments for expenses not tied to purchase orders.

Verify and code invoices accurately to ensure proper account allocation.

Handle automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and manage check runs.

Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial documents.

Assist with filing tasks for the human resources department.

Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies or missing information.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during payment processing.

Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.

Generate reports related to accounts payable activities as required.

Support additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable processes and systems.

Strong skills in invoice coding and account allocation.

Familiarity with automated clearing house (ACH) transactions.

Ability to efficiently manage check runs and financial records.

Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.

Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.

Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
