Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Hollywood, Florida. This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and financial statement preparation. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations and contribute to maintaining accurate records and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions, including three-way matching and accruals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

Manage company credit cards, including reconciling statements and tracking receipts.

Assist in testing and validating system upgrades to ensure functionality and compatibility.

Support the month-end close process with precision and timeliness.

Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to audit requirements.

Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve processes.

Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies.

Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or related field.

Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including three-way match and accruals.

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.

Experience with financial statement preparation and audits.

Ability to perform account reconciliations with attention to detail.

Familiarity with credit card management, including receipts and statement reconciliation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to test system upgrades effectively.

Strong organizational and communication abilities to collaborate with team members.
