Our client is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager on a direct hire basis in Dallas, TX. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for strategically managing all aspects of warehouse operations-including receiving, inventory management, distribution, safety, maintenance, and personnel development-in alignment with company policies and performance objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Strategically manage all warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and vision.

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and inventory management to ensure operational excellence.

Design and optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization.

Initiate, coordinate, and enforce effective operational policies and procedures.

Adhere to all legal requirements for warehousing, handling, and shipping.

Maintain exemplary standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security within the facility.

Manage detailed stock control and reconcile with warehouse data storage systems.

Prepare and manage the annual warehouse budget.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.

Plan and optimize work schedules, assign tasks, and regularly appraise performance.

Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to build a high-performing team.

Generate and analyze operational reports and statistics (e.g., inventory movement, dead stock).

Receive feedback and proactively monitor the quality of services provided.

Oversee preventative maintenance and repair for building systems (plumbing, electrical, dock doors, lighting, safety systems, etc.).

Direct the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all warehouse material handling and storage equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, racks, etc.), as well as shipping/receiving devices (scales, data collectors, etc.).

Qualifications/Requirements:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.

Expertise in warehouse management procedures, best practices, and process improvement.

Demonstrated success in implementing operational process enhancements and driving results.

Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs and performance metrics.

Practical experience with warehouse management software and database systems.

Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
