Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Technician

Location: Mountain Lake, MN

Pay: Based on Experience

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Technician to join our growing team in Mountain Lake. If you're a self-starter with strong diagnostic skills and a passion for keeping trucks and heavy equipment running safely, this is the role for you! You'll work in a supportive, well-equipped shop with a team that values quality work and professional growth.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel engines

Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment

Repair or replace engines, transmissions, and other components

Use modern diagnostic tools and equipment

Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used

Provide excellent customer service and communication

What you'll bring

3+ years of experience repairing diesel engines, technical training, or as a service mechanic

Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in forms, reports, and orders

Must have your own tools (tool allowance available for qualified candidates)

Proven customer service skills and ability to work independently
