What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple security projects, ensuring alignment with team objectives and the organization's strategic goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation, with a focus on IT policy, financial compliance, and risk management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, legal, Internal Controls, business teams, and external partners to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Conduct risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders to ensure transparency.
Measure and report on project effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs), and other relevant metrics.
Prepare, participate in, and facilitate senior leadership Security Ops Control review meetings; create articles to communicate statuses and celebrate successes.
Serve as JIRA Administrator for the Compliance and Application Security teams: maintain user management, drive data integrity, and ensure consistency across the portfolio.
Generate JIRA and Confluence dashboards and required views to support reporting and status updates.
Define, analyze, and provision key performance metrics in response to leadership requests
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing process enhancements to improve project efficiency and outcomes.
You'll have...
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on information security, cybersecurity, or IT projects within the financial sector.
2+ years working experience in JIRA
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST and financial industry regulations is a plus.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a technical and compliance-driven environment.
Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar certification is a plus.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Hands-on experience with security tools, technologies, or platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
Adaptability to changing priorities and emerging threats in the cybersecurity and financial compliance landscape.
Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and reporting.
A solid understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with Cloud projects. GCP experience is a plus.
Having an understanding of IT audits and processes
