As a Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI , you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Wed09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

Requirements

Valid Driver's License

21+ years of age

Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam

Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public agencies as directed by post orders.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols of terminals, curbside areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones, noting irregular activity and reporting concerns through the appropriate channels.

Control access to restricted or authorized-only areas by checking identification, monitoring doors and gates, and maintaining visitor and/or vendor logs as required by site policy.

Complete routine security-related documentation, including patrol activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and promptly communicate relevant information to the next shift.

Minimum Requirements:

Be 21+ years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
