Job Title: Delivery Driver

Job Description

Join our team as a delivery driver, where you will be responsible for warehouse operations and local delivery driving using a 26ft box truck. While the majority of your time will be spent in the warehouse, you will also deliver local orders within a 50-mile radius, with occasional longer trips. Your duties in the warehouse will include pulling orders, packaging, palletizing, loading trucks for shipment, receiving inventory, performing cycle counts, and assisting with will-call customers. You will also need to be comfortable entering data into a computer and using scan guns.

Responsibilities

Operate a 26ft box truck for local deliveries within a 50-mile radius.

Pull orders, package, and palletize items in the warehouse.

Load and unload trucks for shipment.

Receive inventory and perform cycle counts.

Assist with will-call customers and provide excellent customer service.

Enter data into a computer system and use scan guns.

Verify items for accuracy and manage paperwork.

Essential Skills

Forklift operation experience, ideally with large sit-down lifts used in a metal shop or lumber yard.

Comfortable driving a box truck, including loading and unloading.

Experience with shipping, receiving, and palletizing.

Proficiency in data entry and use of ERP systems, specifically SyteLine ERP.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying items and managing paperwork.

Customer service skills for interacting with will-call customers and during deliveries.

Physical ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50lbs frequently and up to 120lbs on occasion.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior experience with manual labor-intensive jobs is advantageous.

Experience using RF scanners.

CDL is not required but beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
