Equity Title Review Specialist I

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Start Date: March 9, 2026

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CT

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - currently 2 days on-site per week, transitioning to 3 days on-site starting April 2026

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Equity Title Review Specialist I to support equity lending operations within a highly regulated, fast-paced financial environment. This role requires professionalism, sound judgment, and strong attention to detail consistent with working for a Fortune 100 organization.

What You'll Do

Review title binders, property reports, and related documents for accuracy and compliance

Analyze ownership history and identify breaks in the chain of title

Evaluate and resolve title issues such as liens, judgments, and vesting discrepancies

Review Trust Agreements and Powers of Attorney for guideline adherence

Prepare affidavits and documentation to clear title issues prior to closing

Collaborate with processors, closers, and third-party vendors to resolve outstanding items

Ensure title documentation complies with federal, state, and secondary market regulations

Communicating potential closing or processing impacts to appropriate teams

Assist with quality control and continuous process improvement efforts

What We're Looking For

Experience in title review, mortgage closing, or equity lending

Strong knowledge of title requirements, liens, judgments, and ownership laws

Working knowledge of Conventional, FHA, and VA loan programs and RESPA guidelines

Experience reviewing legal mortgage documents (Notes, Deeds of Trust, Riders, POAs)

Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional demeanor and ability to perform under pressure

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
