Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) - Join a Leading Healthcare Organization

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a respected healthcare organization known for delivering exceptional patient care and advanced medical services.

As an MLS, you'll perform routine and complex lab tests on patient specimens-including blood, urine, and spinal fluid-to support the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease . You may work across multiple departments such as Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/Immunology/Serology, Stat Laboratory, or Transfusion Services.

What You'll Do:

Conduct lab analyses and evaluate test results for accuracy.

Prepare specimens, slides, and reagents for testing.

Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment; ensure quality control.

Operate Laboratory and Hospital Information Systems (LIS/HIS).

Provide guidance and training to new staff and students.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree.

Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Technologist (MT), or specialty ASCP/AMT certification (or eligibility with 1 year to obtain).

Preferred:

1+ year of lab experience in routine and complex testing.

Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field.

Skills & Strengths:

Strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with LIS/HIS systems.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
