We are seeking?a Summer?Intern?-?Veterinary Technician?for our?Safety Assessment?site located in?Shrewsbury, MA. The?Summer Intern - Veterinary Technician?individual?will work with and assist the Veterinary Staff in daily and study specific duties.

Pay for this role is $20.00 per hour.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without a sponsor visa.

Job Qualifications

The following are minimum requirements:

?Undergraduate level: In undergrad with a demonstrated interest in veterinary medicine or at least science.

Ability to fulfill a minimum of?8 weeks within May/June - August time period.

Effective communication and listening skills in a teamwork environment.

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects with a strong attention to detail.

Prior specific experience not required.

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
