JOB REQUIREMENTS: We have opportunities available at all three of our Oshkosh restaurants. This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you\'ll: Take action first: Lead important internal functions, including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management Be results-oriented: Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results Lead the experience: Directly support the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas: Kitchen- supervise food quality, safety, cost, and new menu items People- hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff to meet sales and profit goals Service- deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring all staff is trained and organizing key service areas within the restaurant to provide the best service Understand that teamwork is key: Partner with the restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant To be a successful Assistant Manager, you\'ll need: A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace Strong customer service and support focus The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs This role is essential to the operations of the restaurant because you will *Take Initiative:* Lead key internal functions, including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management *Focus on Results:* Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report on the outcomes *Enhance the Guest Experience:* Directly support the General Manager in achieving restaurant performance and quality standards in three key areas: - *Kitchen:* Supervise food quality, safety, cost management, and the introduction of new menu items - *People:* Hire, train, and schedule restaurant staff to meet sales and profit goals - *Service:* Ensure a memorable guest experience by training all staff and organizing key service areas within the restaurant *Emphasize Teamwork:* Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations To be a successful Assistant Manager, you will need: - A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace - Strong customer service and support focus - The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs - The capability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment *Perks and Benefits:* - 10 days of paid vacation - 8 paid holidays - Paid time off for your birthday - Quarterly Bonus Program - Health and Dental Insurance - 401(k) plan - Tuition Assistance up to \$3,000 each year - Free meals while you are working - 50% off meals when you are not working Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations. Maintain food and equipment inventories, and keep inventory records. Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and garnishing and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity. Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel to ensure economical use of food and timely preparation. Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving, and building maintenance in lodging and dining facilities. Count money and make bank deposits. Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary. Greet guests, escort them to their seats, and present them with menus and wine lists. Schedule staff hours and assign duties. Arrange for equipment maintenance and repairs, and coordinate a variety of services, such as waste removal and pest control. Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, hire new staff, and evaluate employee performance in dining and lodging facilities. ** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Previous experience as a McDonald\'s manager is preferred. - A strong commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace is essential. - A focus on strong customer service and support is required. - The ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs is important. - Capable of providing solutions and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace ** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Other: https://jobs.mchire.com/jobs
