Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Temp to Perm Opportunity)

2nd Shift Shipping
Monday-Thursday: 2:45pm-12:00am
Friday: 2:45pm-6:45pm
Summary:
Join our team as a Warehouse Associate on 2nd shift in Skaneateles. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking a dynamic role in warehouse operations, where attention to detail, quality, and safety are highly valued. Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inventory Management
Receive, inspect, and stage incoming shipments
Unload products and organize/stow materials
Maintain accurate inventory records, initial paperwork, and conduct inventory counts
Arrange items according to rules/patterns
Tag and label containers
Assist with inventory reports and shortages
Order Fulfillment
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Record inventory movements in SAP
Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and properly labeled
Coordinate with team for efficient order fulfillment
Warehouse Organization
Maintain clean and organized warehouse space
Follow safety protocols and 6S standards
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with team and supervisors
Assist in training new team members
Perform additional duties as assigned
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety requirements
Report hazards, near misses, and incidents
Support Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory compliance
Participate in legal compliance training as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior warehouse/logistics experience a plus, but not required
Willing to undergo on-the-job training
Must be able to perform job duties proficiently after training
Skills:
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment
Attention to detail and quality
Read/interpret technical/stock documents
Effective communication and teamwork
Basic computer skills for record-keeping
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Regular lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
Prolonged standing and walking
Frequent bending, reaching, and occasional climbing
Repetitive tasks requiring stamina and manual dexterity
Variable warehouse temperatures, potential for high noise levels
Use of PPE as required for safety
