Description

Robert Half is partnering with a nationally recognized, top-tier litigation firm that is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a high-performing team.

Requirements

Support multiple attorneys and paralegals with daily litigation and administrative needs

Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court appearances, and internal and external meetings

Oversee time entry, billing processes, and accounting-related tasks, including vendor and court invoices

Maintain and update case information within firm case management systems

Prepare, file, and distribute court filings, including through File & ServeXpress

Compile, organize, and maintain electronic and hard-copy pleadings, discovery, and case files

Create and manage electronic casebooks, trial binders, and briefing materials for hearings and trial

Draft and format litigation documents such as Notices of Appearance, exhibit lists, and deposition materials

Assist with preparation for depositions, hearings, trials, and client meetings

Conduct legal and non-legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and court websites

Track and maintain pleadings, discovery logs, and litigation indexes

Minimum of 5 years of litigation support experience, ideally including time at a Delaware firm

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Prior experience with File & ServeXpress is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail

Solid understanding of litigation procedures, court systems, and legal terminology

Highly organized, resourceful, and able to manage competing priorities

Comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
