Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ' company, is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform laboratory testing and specimen collection in support of the Indian Health Service's Northern Cheyenne Service Unit in Lame Deer, Montana.

Responsibilities
Perform, update and/or review Quality Control, Calibrations, and Maintenance.
Prepare patients and collect blood specimens utilizing arterial puncture, venipuncture or capillary methods.
Prepare patients for collection of other specimen @types such as urine and stool.
Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using various diagnostic laboratory equipment such as analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges.
Review, verify and report patient results.
Laboratory specific orientation, training and competency assessment will be provided by the Service Unit as needed.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Certification as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist by a recognized certifying body (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
Familiarity with IHS Systems such as RPMS or VistA
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must be proficient in major areas of the clinical laboratory, such as clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, serology, urinalysis, microbiology, and molecular testing.
Must be proficient at capillary and venous blood collection.
Must be able to interact with a diverse patient range, from newborn to elderly, across hospitals and clinics.
Have good communication and people skills.
Have good work ethic, being punctual and working the days scheduled to work.
Estimated Salary/Wage
USD $55.00/Hr. Up to USD $65.00/Yr.
