Electrical Machine Builder - Saint Joseph, MI
Job Description
The Electrical Machine Builder is responsible for running wire for machines being built. You will work in a group with other builders and electricians, ranging from 3 to 10 people at a time, under the guidance of a set lead. You will handle all electrical work on the machine, including panel wiring, pulling wire, and installing AC motors ranging from 110 volts to 480 volts if necessary. Wiring will be done based on schematics. Please ensure you have your own tools as well.
Responsibilities
Run wire for machines being built.
Collaborate with a group of builders and electricians.
Work under the guidance of a set lead for each machine build.
Perform all electrical work on machines, including panel wiring and wire pulling.
Install and work with AC motors ranging from 110 volts to 480 volts.
Wire machines based on schematics.
Ensure all tasks are completed with personal tools.
Essential Skills
2+ years of electrical wiring experience.
2+ years of panel wiring experience.
2+ years of experience reading and interpreting schematics.
2+ years of experience working with 110 volt-480 volt AC motors.
2+ years of 24v wiring experience.
Possession of basic hand tools, wire stripper, and crimper.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Technical training or schooling.
Experience with machine installation or building.
Experience with conveyor systems and automation.
Journeyman Electrician certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
