Job Title: Construction General Laborer

Job Description

As a Construction General Laborer, you will take part in critical demolition and restoration operations across commercial properties impacted by fire, water, mold, or severe weather. Responsibilities include dismantling non-structural building components, setting up containment systems, and managing debris in compliance with environmental standards. You will use a variety of tools-jackhammers, saws, drills, pry bars-and support structural drying, cleaning, and site preparation efforts. Strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols is required.

Responsibilities

Perform demolition activities, ensuring the safe removal of materials.

Assist in commercial restoration projects involving fire, water, mold, and storm damage.

Operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, saws, drills, and pry bars, safely and efficiently.

Load, remove, and dispose of demolition debris in compliance with environmental regulations.

Set up work areas with barriers, poly sheeting, and negative air equipment to contain projects.

Assist in cleaning, drying, and preparing structures for repair and reconstruction.

Adhere to all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company policies.

Collaborate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and subcontractors.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.

Perform additional labor duties as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rochester, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
