BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager plays a key role in developing and executing customer lifecycle strategies and go-to-market (GTM) plans aimed at driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention of targeted segments. This role combines strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on expertise in campaign management and optimization to effectively convert customer and market insights into actionable initiatives to achieve measurable business outcomes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Owns the development and execution of customer lifecycle strategies and GTM plans for digital sales customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable impact.
Leads and influences cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Business Units, Customer Solutions, agencies) to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and deliver integrated marketing programs.
Obtains and maintains an in-depth understanding of both existing and emerging customer needs, competitive trends and industry drivers that impact assigned customer segments.
Analyzes customer journeys, churn signals and campaign performance to identify opportunities for retention, growth, and capturing a greater share of a customers' purchases.
Leverages analytics and reporting tools to track KPIs, generate actionable insights, and inform strategic and tactical decisions.
Champions a data-driven approach to test, learn and iterate marketing programs, adapting quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.
Manages and enhances customer loyalty and engagement programs, using voice-of-customer (VOC) and market insights to drive retention.
Supports the MSC brand by ensuring consistency across deployed tactics and on digital platforms with adherence to brand standards including voice, identity and tone
Fosters the MSC Culture within the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC's vision and unity of purpose
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or the equivalent experience is required.
Minimum of five years of marketing experience, with at least two years managing integrated marketing programs or campaigns.
Experience developing customer acquisition and retention strategies based on business goals and customer insights.
Proven success in developing, executing and optimizing marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Experience managing projects and working with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, market conditions, and organizational needs while maintaining focus on delivering results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Ability to clearly articulate strategies and plans to ensure alignment and understanding across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Experience managing forecasts and budgets.
Ability to work with and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Other Requirements:
A valid driver's license may be required.
Position requires travel on an as needed basis.
This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information ( ITAR ) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information ( CUI )
Compensation starting at $72100 - $113300 depending on experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
