About the Role

Kerry, located in Vesper, WI, is currently looking to hire a first shift Manufacturing Assistant. This role is crucial as it involves providing ongoing and necessary support within our SAP processes. The Manufacturing Assistant will play a significant part in assisting with the completion of process orders and ensuring that any deviations are identified and corrected prior to Teco. Additionally, the role will involve heavy involvement within operations, making it an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities

Main Job Duties

TECO - Technically Completing Production Orders

a. Correcting and evaluating all Pos prior to moving to costing.

b. Inventory - Balance IM materials

Recipe Controller

Additional Job Duties

Tracking new hire vacation

a. Confirm vacation is correct after 60 days

Plant phone calls

a. Check messages on switch board

b. Manually turning on plant answer when not here

New hire orientation - I9 (proof of citizenship)

Maintain door swipe card for access

Get mail from post office

Balance & submit payroll remittance (union dues/united way)

Payment/checks received @vesper, identify reason/enter code, record and forward

a. Trex & Haycreek give checks (scanned and sent to corp for cashing)

Metting organization (breakfast/lunch for visitors)

Ticket each year to update employee pay

Employee filing (discipline, training records etc..)

a. Sending discipline to union reps

Admin work

a. Requisitions monthly file

Headcount report weekly

a. Update sheet with leavers and new people

Safety glasses vouchers

Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

The pay range for this position is $28 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Kerry offers a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, Employee Share Plan, Life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
