Shipping/Receiving Worker (Distribution Specialist)

Pay Rate: $23.83

Work Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11-7:30pm

Saturday and Sunday- 7:00am -3pm

Description Summary

Under supervision, responsible for pulling, packaging, and shipping customer orders for enteral supplies and equipment in a safe, effective, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure strong attendance and punctuality; meet daily minimum productivity requirements.

Accurately process daily orders in a fast-paced, pick/pack environment.

Meet established picking standards (18 orders/hour; ramping up over first 4 weeks).

Pull and verify products for orders (product number and quantity).

Box and pack orders with proper materials to ensure safe delivery.

Stock shelves accurately, maintain clean and organized warehouse.

Rotate stock; label date stickers, remove expired products.

Assure compliance with regulatory, process control, and safety standards.

Follow all company, employee, and regulatory policies.

May operate forklift (with certification) and cut wafers as required.

Prioritize shipments as directed by supervisor.

Essential Duties

Ability to multi-task.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Standing most of the day required.

Read, write, analyze, compare contents.

Teamwork; communicate and collaborate with peers.

Operation of warehouse equipment once certified.

Prioritize shipments per supervisor instructions.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience preferred.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with basic math concepts (fractions, ratios, percentages).

Reasoning Ability: Problem-solving, ability to interpret instructions in multiple formats.

Physical Demands: Regularly required to lift, move quickly, bend, and stand for extended periods.
