Position Summary...
As a key leader in Walmart's grocery distribution network, you will champion asset protection strategies and operational excellence across our distribution centers. Your focus will be on safeguarding people, property, and products-ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our grocery supply chain from warehouse to store.
What you'll do...
Leverage Data and Technology: Use data analytics and technology to identify risks, analyze root causes, and implement solutions that enhance asset protection and operational performance in grocery distribution environments. Develop dashboards and visualizations to inform stakeholders and leadership.
Drive Business Solutions: Recommend and implement business solutions to address complex challenges unique to grocery distribution, including inventory management, cold chain compliance, and product integrity. Build business cases that align with Walmart's grocery strategy and drive cost savings.
Ensure Environmental Compliance: Support regulatory visits and audits specific to food safety and environmental standards in grocery distribution. Implement policies to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and integrate environmental best practices into daily operations.
Maintain Operational Excellence: Document and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and One Best Way (OBW) processes for grocery distribution centers. Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Enhance Asset Protection: Lead investigations into security incidents, theft, and shrinkage within grocery distribution centers. Implement and monitor access controls, emergency response protocols, and loss prevention practices tailored to the unique needs of grocery logistics.
Collaborate and Communicate Effectively: Work closely with distribution center teams, transportation partners, and leadership to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration. Present complex information in a way that is actionable for diverse audiences.
Influence and Feedback: Guide and influence team members and leaders to adopt best practices in asset protection and operational safety. Provide and seek feedback to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
Ensure Employee Health and Safety: Oversee health and safety programs in grocery distribution centers, ensuring compliance with OSHA and food safety standards. Coordinate emergency response plans and educate associates on workplace hazards.
Drive Process Improvement: Define and refine critical workflows in grocery distribution, focusing on efficiency, safety, and product quality. Coach team members in process improvement methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
