Description

The MLT will provide quality clinical information by accurately performing laboratory test and procedures. It may range from waived point of care testing to moderately complex testing involving areas of the hematology and chemistry. The MLT has diverse functions in areas of pre-analytical and post-analytical processes. In addition, the MLT has responsibilities relating to information processing, and advanced trouble shooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures, monitoring quality control measuring and protocols.

Required Qualifications:

California Medical Laboratory Technician License upon hire. Or

California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire.

2 years of General Laboratory and Specialty Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
