CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an Electrical Technician III.

Type: Contract

Job Title: Electrical Technician III

Location: Wilmington, NC

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Wilmington, NC

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field

Summary

Provide hands-on electrical support for installation, modification, startup, and troubleshooting of production and automation equipment.

Support construction, installation, debug, and commissioning activities through turnover to operations.

Spend the majority of time on the manufacturing floor working directly with equipment.

Supervise and direct internal maintenance teams and external contractors during equipment installation, conversion, testing, and debugging.

Requirements

Knowledge of industrial power systems up to and including 480VAC.

Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics for troubleshooting and system validation.

Translate engineering solutions into functional equipment and process requirements.

Collaborate effectively with IT, Mechanical, and Process Engineering teams.

Hands-on experience using standard tools, instruments, and measurement devices.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Strong focus on job site safety, communication, and results-driven execution.

Education

AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology, BS in Electrical Engineering Technology, BS in Electrical Engineering, or similar. (Equivalent experience may be considered in rare circumstances.)

Experience

3+ years of manufacturing experience supporting process and automation equipment.

Additional Information
